To register for the online ASKEGA Forum Board:
In the past there has been tampering to these boards for the purposes of advertising. Many of these advertisements would be considered as inappropriate and even if they aren’t, they are not professional. The only way to be certain that these will never show up again is to have a “human” filter.
Now that the website has been moved and everything is back up and running I felt it was the perfect time to change forum boards as well. It is now as secure as possible. This new forum board is provided by: SIMPLE MACHINES and has all the bells and whistles that PhPBB had (and more) and is probably easier for most people to use.
I kept the actual boards to a minimum, if more are wanted then let me know. The process for accessing this board is just about as easy as the old one and I will setup a basic “Username” / “Password” for whoever wants it. After they log in they can change it at any time so that NOBODY knows it (including me). If a person loses the password there is a function on the login screen for that as well.
After a person emails me at: webmaster@askega.com and requests to be part of the forum board I will send them a reply with a Temporary Username and Temporary Password. These can be permanent if the person chooses, but I would not recommend this as it is easily forgotten since it doesn’t have any personal attachments.
Login to the main forum board either by going through the ASKEGA website or by going to: http://www.askega.com/smfbb/
Enter in the Username and Password (that the webmaster mailed back to you after you requeted one) here. NOTE: you can enter the minutes to be logged in, ALWAYS logged in (Forever etc…). Also, it has: “Lost your password” which will help you get it back in the case you forgot it.
When you log in you will notice three (3) Forums (if more are wanted please let me know). 1.) Forum for General Posting 2.) Officers Only and 3.) Questions and Comments. It was kept basic to these three but as many as people want can be made.
To setup your new password go to PROFILE on the top bar tabs under your name
Then, on the left side click on Account Related Settings
After you setup your account you can change your profile, your image (company logo etc…).
